This General level workshop is an opportunity to deepen your practice.
Starting with standing poses and moving on to some intermediate poses including inversions.
The use of props to help support the body will allow you to experience the postures safely.

Khaled is a certified Intermediate Iyengar Yoga Teacher and has visited RIMYI in Pune several times where he has studied under the direct guidance of the Iyengar family.

Yoga for Men - Authentic Indian Yoga with Ravi

During this 2-hour workshop specifically designed for men, Ravi will take you through a traditional Indian Yoga practice with a focus on postures and sequences best suited to men’s bodies.
The workshop will also include pranayama breathing techniques for cleansing and energizing the body and mind. The practice will be suitable for all experience levels, from complete beginners and advanced.
Yoga mats are provided.

Ravi was born in India and from a young age he grew up with a yoga practice as part of his daily life. In his early twenties he lived at the Mahatma Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh where he studied traditional Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga with well-respected Yoga master Yogi Ji. Over the last ten years, Ravi has been teaching all across India since; most recently he was the resident teacher at Little Cove Yoga, voted as one of the best yoga schools in Goa, where he led classes for thousands of students from all over the world. In his work as a yoga teacher, Ravi is passionate about making the original principles of traditional Indian Yoga understandable for everyone.

About Ravi Dixit Kumar
Ravi Dixit knows the benefits of yoga like no other, growing up in India where yoga is a part of daily life and considered essential for maintaining health and happiness.
Since yoga has become a mainstream form of exercise in the Western world, more and more people are experiencing the benefits of this beautiful practice. However, some of the principles of the original teachings have gotten lost in the modern yoga.
In his work as a yoga teacher, Ravi is passionate to bring back the essence of yoga, making the principles and values of traditional Indian yoga understandable and approachable for everyone. In his early twenties, Ravi lived at lived at the Mahatma Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh where he studied Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga with well-respected Guru Yogendra singh Negi (Yogi Ji).
