I believe a regular practice of yoga can lead to wellbeing on all levels. Through yoga you can develop a healthy, strong and open body and also cultivate a state of centeredness and clarity in mind.
My love of yoga began in a rural community in Scotland where I grew up with my yoga teacher mother. I have practiced astanga yoga extensively in Australia where I studied with world renowned Dena Kingsberg and where I also undertook my Astanga/Iyengar teacher training qualification. I also study pranayama and meditation with Clive Sheridan in India.
Astanga Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic practice. A sequence of postures are linked by the breath (vinyasa) and combined with internal energy locks to detoxify, strengthen and open the body.
