Yoga takes us out of the incessant flurry of our mind; the

stress and drama of modern day living, and brings us home to that quiet, gentle place that is constant inside us all. At it’s most basic level yoga is about balance; living your life fully while feeling complete within yourself. It gives us an anchor amidst the turbulence of modern day living.

Astanga Yoga is a dynamic and graceful practice. A carefully structured set of postures is linked with the breath in a flowing sequence that aims to purify and balance the body while clearing the mind.

I have practiced with various teachers and styles of yoga including Astanga Yoga with Dena Kingsberg and Mathew Sweeney, Iyengar yoga with Glen Ceresoli and pranayama and meditation with Clive Sheridan. I have been teaching yoga for twelve years.

I am fully qualified with the Yoga Arts level 4 teacher training and with Tias Little’s Prajna Yoga Level 3 teacher training. Both trainings are recognised by The Yoga Alliance. I am also trained in pregnancy yoga with Birthlight.

Anyone can practise yoga and I welcome you to come and explore for yourself. The classes are drop-in so no pre-booking is necessary. I also offer private classes to suit your individual needs.
